Zinc Protective Coating

Zinc Protective Coating

Zinc Protective Coating

Galvanising is the application of zinc layer on surfaces to prevent them from getting rust. The zinc coating of hot-dipped galvanised steel lasts in the harshest soil for 35 to 50 years and in less corrosive soil for 75 years or more. Galvanised zinc coatings respond amazingly well in extreme hot & cold temperatures.

Zinc coatings form a protective barrier against moisture. It is necessary to apply this zinc layer on metals as iron and steel are particularly susceptible to oxidation. Prevention is always better than cure, therefore such parts of a vehicle should be galvanised well in advance.

Corrosion of zinc-coated metals is 100x slower as compared to non-coated metals.

Increasing the life span of your metal parts in factories and vehicle is way too easy and under budget.

Along with automotive, our craftsmen galvanise railings also.

There are all the way more reasons to go for zinc coating on metals:

  • Zinc is a more affordable coating material and abundant than several other metals that are used for plating.
  • It provides a brighter finish as compared to others
  • It is an easy-to-apply coating.
  • Zinc can be used with rack plating and barrel plating.
  • It works very well as undercoats when applications entail e-coating or painting. Undoubtedly, it also improves coated or painted surfaces’ corrosion resistance.
